Help bring The Mural Map to Albuquerque and Crossroads Village

“Great art has the ability to transform a neighborhood, educate the public, and promote change.” – The Mural Map

Our new building location, Crossroads Village, has been chosen as the Albuquerque site for a mural project by The Mural Map.

Co-founded by artists Limpio and VCKSZ, The Mural Map is a free public art project that creates murals for small businesses and organizations. Their goal is to connect local residents with their communities through art.

Limpio is scheduled to visit Albuquerque the first week of January 2021 as part of his Southwest and Pacific Northwest mural tour. He plans to create three murals at our new location in downtown Albuquerque. Renderings of the potential project can be seen below.

The Mural Map works completely off of donations and sponsors to complete as many free murals as they can. Limpio still needs to raise at least $1,500 by Christmas in order to make the trip to Albuquerque and complete the free Crossroads mural project.
