Updated COVID-19 precautions in response to amended stay-at-home order

November 16, 2020 – In response to the amended emergency public health order effective today, November 16, the following additional precautions and requirements are in place at Crossroads for Women locations until further notice:

801 and 805 Tijeras

All staff working at 801 and 805 Tijeras will be required to submit a copy of their most current COVID test before returning to work.

Home visits will continue using the knock and retreat method. Staff will not enter a client’s apartment at this time unless you authorized by their supervisor supervisor.

The main building at 805 Tijeras remains closed. Staff cannot CANNOT ENTER the building unless authorized by their supervisor.

The administrative building at 801 Tijeras Ave NW remains closed. One staff member per day will be available 9am-5pm to distribute essential items for clients through the door with 24 hours’ notice.

Maya’s Place and The Pavilions

No visitors are allowed on property at this time.

No drop offs are allowed at this time.

All grocery store outings including gas stations, Dollar Tree and big box stores are not allowed. Staff will support clients in accessing delivery services at this time.

Staff will support clients in accessing delivery services for medications.

All counseling appointments will need to take place via telehealth.

All use of public transportation is prohibited at this time.

The CRFW COVID guidelines must be strictly followed.

Medical appointments are restricted to emergency appointments only. Emergency appointments are defined as a client needing to go to the emergency room, COVID testing, flu shots and urgent care.

All UA tests, phone checks and med checks will be conducted by day staff ONLY until further notice.

Clients may continue to go to work, but are responsible for their transportation outside of business hours. Business hours are defined as 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday.  

Staffing is on a skeleton schedule until further notice.

All staff are required to wear their masks even when they are alone in their offices.
