Meet new board member Nicole Villareal

We’re pleased to welcome local real estate broker Nicole Villareal to the Crossroads for Women Board of Directors. Learn more about Nicole in her bio below.

Nicole Villareal

Nicole Villareal is a Commercial Real Estate Broker in the State of New Mexico with a focus on providing site location and facilitating expansion for nonprofit organizations, as well as commercial investment and growth management services for the private investor.  At 19, Nicole became one of the youngest women in our state to earn a GB-02 license for construction and she later received PNM’s Pioneer Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2008 which is presented to a Woman Excelling in a Male Dominated Field. She is a frequent speaker for programs supporting DECA, Women Owned Businesses, and Small Business leadership & development. 

Nicole is a Leadership Albuquerque graduate of 2012 and has a passion for helping our underprivileged youth.  She has assisted in creating a greenhouse program with a local high school to help at risk teens increase their attendance, GPA’s and graduation rates.  Nicole has also been an integral part of the YDDC Christmas outreach program organizing holiday celebrations with local high school students and residents through her church. Her fundraising efforts have supported organizations such as Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Sierra Rain Foundation, the St. Jude Research Center and Mandy’s Farm. 

Born and raised in New Mexico, Nicole is devoted to helping our community thrive and to be a stake holder in the continued growth of small business throughout our State.  She lives in Albuquerque with her husband, 2 children and a tetra fish lovingly dubbed “Sharknado.”
