Junior League of Albuquerque and Bosque School provide pumpkin carving kits for Crossroads families

The Junior League of Albuquerque (JLA) has been a longtime sponsor of our annual Halloween party. Due to COVID-19, this year necessitated some changes to our Halloween celebration in order to keep everyone healthy and safe.

Although we couldn’t gather together, the community united to help make Halloween special for the women and children of Crossroads.

JLA and our dedicated friends at Bosque School worked with our Community Engagement Coordinator Dalilah Naranjo to provide over 150 pumpkin carving kits for Crossroads families!

Clients created their best jack-o’-lantern designs with their kits and submitted photos to our Facebook pumpkin carving contest. The top three submissions received gift cards as prizes.

Like so many things this year, Halloween 2020 looked different from years past. But thanks to the support of our community and the positive, resilient attitudes of our women, good, clean fun was still had by all.

Special thanks to JLA and Bosque School for helping make the holidays bright for Crossroads families!
