An evening of terror and fun at our Halloween event!

The spooky night kicked off with the help of our wonderful Fundraising Committee.  They went all out with decorating their vehicles for Trunk-or-Treating.  There were sightings of Cruella de Vil, Alice in Wonderland, and Spiderman!

Once inside, community members were transported to different worlds as staff decorated the hallways with different movies.  Community members were able to meet the likes of characters from Tim Burton films, Coco, Toy Story, Lilo and Stitch, Coraline, and Hocus Pocus.  Voting for favorite hallway themes underwent all evening with the winners being the Tim Burton Team at first place, Hocus Pocus at second, and the Coco team taking third place.

Of course, the fun didn’t stop there! A carnival was held in our common room where community members could partake in making s’mores and could dish up on cotton candy. Fun activities included games like ring toss and an arts and crafts table for families to join in on!

During our Halloween event, community members could pick up their new coats that were provided by our Coats for Crossroads donation drive.  We surpassed our goal, and it overjoys us to know that families will be able to stay cozy and warm this fall and winter.  Thank you so much to those who donated!

We had so much fun planning and hosting the Halloween event for our community members! Thank you to our Fundraising Committee, ABQ Involved, Junior League of Albuquerque, and of course our staff for helping and providing holiday spirit.  It was truly a ghoulishly good time!
