The Pavilions is a structured nine to twelve month program at a thirty-bed living site for women upon release from incarceration. Women participate in on-site therapeutic programming addressing substance addictions and mental illness, as well as, life skills education, group therapy, parenting, vocational training, holistic health services and community activities. All services are aimed at helping the women move toward self–sufficiency. Program rules and a graduated, goal driven level system, create close supervision and structure early in the program, with increasing independence as successful participation continues.
In order to qualify for The Pavilions program, women must be on parole or probation through the New Mexico Corrections Department. Women can be referred through their Federal Probation officers and/or their case managers. Women entering The Pavilions-Los Lunas must be clean and sober at admission and have a co-occurring disorder.
Effective September 1, 2017, The Pavilions will only accept applications submitted by the probation officers, community organization, and case managers at New Mexico jails and prisons via email. Please submit completed applications to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject: “Potential Client Name – The Pavilions”.
The Pavilions does not accept collect calls from correctional facilities but applications are available from the case managers at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Albuquerque and at the Women’s Correctional Facility in Grants.
