Back-to-School Day at Crossroads for Women

A new school year brings fresh opportunities for individuals and families alike. Crossroads for Women clients and their children were treated to a wonderful Back-to-School Day earlier this month on August 9. This event was possible thanks to the support of Boy Scouts of America Troop #201 and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Local Eagle scout Eric Devenport organized a school supply drive at his church and donated the supplies to Crossroads. Eric, his mom, Stacy, and members of Troop #201 were on hand at the Back-to-School Day event to help fill backpacks with school supplies and distribute them to the women and children in attendance.

We’re grateful for the community support we receive that allows us to put on beneficial events for our clients. Here’s to a happy and successful 2017-2018 school year!
